Not right..

• allergies woke me early, so i couldnt sleep and since i only had to come to the denver office today, i was here a little after 530am.. ugh.  expect me to be leaving early, assuming i'm still awake enough to drive
• heavy hearted today, it's steve wolkoff's funeral.  sadly, i wont be flying to ny to attend.. but i know many will be there and that's good to know.  reading all the comments and blog posts just serves to intensify the sadness
• web based video encoding - pretty cool, but how do you upload a tape?
• adplanner as trojan horse?  ugh, the media loves to dramatize
• hey, yahoo had a reorg, oh please, nothing new to say there
• the big secret is out!  google search works so well because of special toilets!
• microsoft looking to buy powerset, a search engine.  didnt they buy a search engine last year too?  is there a plan here or just to gobble up lots of hopeful technologies?  i've played around with powerset, supposed to be natural language searching, it currently searches just wikipedia.  frankly, this company has been on the landscape for a very long time with pretty ho-hum results.  just feels like lots of hype here people

• oh yea, rough day for this tired guy.. i have 6 x 30 minute meetings from 9-12 - is that unreal or what!?
• this was a long, but good read on android - required reading ;-)
• we have new neighbors!  they moved from houston (smart move!) have 2 little girls,  but more importantly, 2 cute little pugs!  haha.  they seem nice..
• i made myself a triple americano already.. i expect that will be the first of many..
• bud to stop selling alcoholic energy drinks?  i didnt even get to try these things.. and seriously, who the heck wants a cold frosty beer full if ginseng?  speaking of which, it's friday, i need to make sure my garage fridge is fully stocked for the friday night cul-de-sac cocktail hour :-)
