Counting down the days...

• my little perk of being able to work in DTC is fast coming to an end, sad for me, but i did get to enjoy it for a while at least... so this week, with the dems in town, i'll work here mon-thurs and return to thn on friday, after the dems leave town..
• i want to like tumblr, but struggle at times how to use it.. or maybe just dont have time for it.. (very likely) - anyway, i got my vanity dns hooked up to it - http://tumble.saitz.com/
• i know about jaiku, some do & some don't, but what most dont realize is that google owns it.. is it time to get more serious?  too late with twitter owning that space?
• microsoft ready to sell ave-a?  maybe they can then get wise and move to DFA :-D
• while i like some of the united commercials, they do portray flying to be kind of glamorous, peaceful and relaxing, when it's anything but.  i'll give you this, international business & first is pretty lush, but it costs $12k per ticket and for the rest of the peeps, it's steerage.  adage, wisely, picked up on this..  here's a video to give you an example

• interesting read on search/display - good for all to read
• accounting online - my father in law was a CPA and i used to have to go over all the time and help with tech support - updating software, tax tables, adding states, etc.. this is all when modems did the job and it was a pain for me, but i felt bad for him.  moving acct software online makes all the sense in the world - the security piece would really need to be well handled however.
• google & verizon - they dont call them frienemies, that's an old term.. it's now enemiends
• jose was 2nd to the denver office.. it's 8:50AM and noone else is here yet.. hmmm
