• IE8 Beta 2 is now out... i will not be installing it.  i installed beta1.. then installed xp sp3.. then tried to remove beta1 and read all over the internet that you can't!  beta1 has to be uninstalled, once you install sp3, beta1 is permanent.. why didnt they tell me during the install!?? lucky, i did find a workaround and got rid of beta1, but am much more weary of installing this crap.. maybe i will on a VM

• the mets had lost me last night.. down 3-2 with their shitty bullpen against phillys effective bullpen... but i kept watching and they kept playing and pulled out a great win.. they lose a heartbreaker, but win a real gut check game
