- verizon lovers, have hope - apple & verizon talking. that would sell another 5million iPhones. hear my weekend story? i found a 16GB iPhone. the battery was dead, so i took it home and charged it and then called the last person to call it in the caller ID. the guy was a friend of the owner, popped over and picked it up. mack handed it over (answered the door) and the guy gave him a $5 reward. haha
- publishers clearing house getting into twitter.. how are they still around?! i still remember those mailers, as a kid, and the hundreds of little stickers, each one was of a logo of a magazine.. and no, i never won the grand prize..
- a computer program is going to take on people in jeopardy? i once tried out for jeopardy, but didn't make it. i got exposed by not a deep enough set of answers to questions in literature and history. funny, when i watch on tv, i do well..
- facebook opening up status updates for free over APIs. facebook has MAJOR twitter envy and just wants to be twitter. maybe they're pissed that twitter turned down facebook to be bought? i don't know, but it just feels very predatory for facebook to keep making more and more changes to go after twitter, instead of focusing on what they want to do of their own volition
- ok, before i hit post.. excellent piece last night on 60 minutes about coal.. you can't underestimate how important our use of coal is for our energy..

back in the snow, again!
shockingly, snowing again, and a bunch of it! it will be gone by lunch, but a reminder that winter isn't over, here in CO, until july.
