- openX raises is more money and is getting lots of press. i've heard from some folks that have used it, it's cute and all, but it's not DART
- microsoft has it's biggest checkbook out for an anti-google campaign. their "pc value" ads have been reported to be working ok, it would be funny if they tried the same approach for search. i.e. "look at live.com, works great and free, a much better value than google.com" although, word on the street is that it will be bing.com. bing? i knew a kid in camp named peter bing and he used to eat mustard out of those little plastic packets, so let's just say, not the coolest kid in camp.
- just checked in on my flight and scored the upgrade, which is sweet, since i had some upgrades that expired at the end of may - looks like i'll get to use them :-)
- a iphones good for advertising? i think they have potential.
- the folks that run north korea may be smarter than me and have a better plan, but they seem to run their country like a bunch of morons
- we sold most of the contents of our house. a brief list: washer/dryer, 2 chairs & ottoman, queen-sized bed, dining room set, both boys bedroom funiture, and much more.. the movers will arrive and wonder what happened. the estimate was probably for a big truck and now they just need to load up my TVs :-)

short stay
heading to the airport later this AM, so am here for a few hours to have a meeting or two, clean up email and charge my laptop :-)
